Unione Sarda: Milan keen on Cagliari midfielder – deal possible for €15m or less

AC Milan are looking for the right reinforcements for the midfield ahead of the summer window and have Razvan Marin of Cagliari on their list, a report claims.

Local newspaper Unione Sarda (via MilanLive) reports that Milan are keen admirers of Marin, who they believe has excellent technical qualities and a good sense of position, having now established himself as a starter for Cagliari.

He came through the Georghe Hagi Academy in his native Romania and then was signed by Ajax at a very young age, before choosing to move to Sardinia in 2020. If the Renato Sanches affair gets complicated, then the 25-year-old could be a good alternative and he seems a fit as a deputy to Sandro Tonali.

Milan got to watch him first hand at the Unipol Arena during their 1-0 win last weekend, but he is attracting the interest of other Italian and foreign clubs, with teams in LaLiga and the German Bundesliga keen. The asking price should not exceed €15m, the report concludes.
