With Milan investing in the Futuro project last summer, it showed further that the club has a desire to improve their youth level and pathways to the first team. So the addition of Silvano Vos, among others, was a call that the Rossoneri wanted to build the future in-house.
Of course, the less said about the Futuro now, the better. However, the ideology still remains, even if it has taken a hit in the rankings.
A new idea
So, this summer, the club will continue to invest in young talents, and Maksim Minkov is the latest starlet to be linked with a move. As TMW (via Milan News) write, the club are looking at the Bulgarian striker who is on the radars of several Spanish and Italian clubs.
Juventus, Udinese and Genoa stand out as the big threats to the Diavolo’s hopes, with the latter being ‘convinced’ in their abilities to bring him to the club. Nevertheless, Milan will continue to assess the striker, and could make a move for the striker this summer, who currently plays for Ludogorets’ under-17s.
