According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bordeaux made one thing clear today during talks with the agent of the Cameroon international: Onana must be bought. The meeting established that the French club are not open to a loan formula, so Milan are now facing a crossroads.
The Rossoneri were hoping for a loan with option to buy deal but now they have two choices: either buy Onana outright for between €5-7m or move on and spend the remaining budget on a central defender or another midfield target.
Raphael Onyedika meanwhile seems to have vanished off radar now as there is no agreement or anything close to one with FC Midtjylland. The Danes still want €10m to sell the 21-year-old, so the chances of him coming are very low, while Aster Vranckx of Wolfsburg remains an idea.
