CorSera: Elliott executives hold contacts with Dybala’s entourage – the situation

AC Milan have made contacts with the entourage of Paulo Dybala over the possibility of him arriving on a free transfer, a report claims.

According to Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), there were telephone contacts between some directors of the Elliott Management fund – located in London – and Dybala’s entourage that took place yesterday.

The reason for the call was not so much to try to start a negotiation but more to ask for information on the progress of the discussions between the playmaker and Inter, given there are rumours that the negotiations between Dybala and the Nerazzurri have come to a standstill.

They also asked for information on Dybala’s salary demands, which are no less than €7m net per season and represents the true stumbling block of the operation. At the moment there is no negotiation underway, but the Rossoneri are informed and will stay alert for opportunities that may arise.
