GdS: Milan enquire about re-signing former Primavera midfielder – his will is clear

AC Milan and Juventus are both interested in signing Bryan Cristante but the midfielder seems happy at Roma, according to a report.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via ForzaRoma), Cristante is a player that Roma want to keep because head coach Jose Mourinho has made it clear how much esteem he has for him, but now the ball passes to the management to agree a renewal with him.

Cristante has every intention of staying with the Giallorossi, but there are many clubs such as Milan to Juventus who have probed his entourage to see if there are the margins for setting up a possible negotiation.

For the 27-year-old however Roma are his priority and the management of the capital club intend to reward him economically for the important role he has on the pitch. He will not receive a figure like Lorenzo Pellegrini or Tammy Abraham gets, but negotiations shouldn’t be too difficult.

Cristante played in Milan’s academy from 2009 to 2014 and then went to Benfica before returning to Italy with Atalanta and eventually moving south to Roma.
