According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Gakpo is now on the wish list of many top European clubs having started the 2022-23 season so well. He has 9 goals and 12 assists in 14 league games for PSV and has also scored in each of his first two World Cup appearances with the Netherlands.

The paper reports that Milan were the first club in Italy to express an interest in the winger on the recommendation of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s scouting network and data analysis team.

The Dutchman would be the perfect replacement for Rafael Leao if the Portuguese does not renew in the eyes of Tuttosport, but at the moment PSV’s asking price of €50m is high and it could be destined to go up further if his exploits in Qatar continue.
