According to a report from Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), Zlatan Ibrahimovic will likely retire at the end of the current campaign meaning a new striker is needed to complete a department consisting of a 35-year-old Olivier Giroud (expected to renew) and Divock Origi.
The identikit is as follows: a young striker with good experience at a high level and costs in line with the Charles De Ketelaere deal. Noah Okafor of Red Bull Salzburg has been mentioned, but other profiles begin to appear.
Among the Rossoneri’s ideas are Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta and Mohammed Kudus of Ajax. The former arrived in Bergamo this summer from Sturm Graz for €17m and has a goal and an assist in four appearances.
The second has been a revelation for Ajax, with 7 goals in 10 appearances having been moved forward after spending the last two seasons often playing in midfield.
There are eyes also on Armando Broja of Chelsea who was heavily linked with a move to Napoli in the summer, but that of course defends on the plans of new head coach Graham Potter.
