Sky: Milan will not completely escape punishment over FFP – the situation

AC Milan will not entirely escape punishment from UEFA over their Financial Fair Play situation but should not receive a strict sanction, a report claims.

According to Sky (via MilanNews), four Serie A clubs have come under the attention of UEFA over the most recent three-year period being monitored for FFP: Inter, Roma, Juventus and Milan.

In the coming days, European football’s football body will publish a single statement announcing disciplinary measures against 15 top European clubs. PSG, Marseille, Monaco, Barcelona, Arsenal and Besiktas are among the teams, and all 15 have been contacted.

The various Settlement Agreements are in the last phase of drafting but have not yet been signed by the clubs involved. However, a fine will be imposed on Inter and Roma, as well as a limitation on the number of players who can be named in the squad for a UEFA competition.

For Milan and Juventus on the other hand it will be a small fine. There will be the chance for delegates of all clubs to speak with UEFA officials at the Champions League and Europa League group stage draws on 25 August.
