Tuttosport: Milan’s interest in Zaniolo scuppers Juve’s plans to offer swap

AC Milan have made it known that they are interested in signing Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma which has scuppered the plans of Juventus, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.it), Juve still believe that Zaniolo has a lot of potential despite his serious injuries given that he is only 22 years of age and has bounced back well this season from his latest knee operation.

However, it is not at all a simple pursuit for the Bianconeri because they are not alone in their admiration for the Italy international. Zaniolo’s valuation is now around €50m and it has forced Juve to make new valuations.

The report claims that the Old Lady would like to lower this figure by inserting counterparts that would go to Roma but it is ‘a plan that risks being wrecked before starting’ because the Giallorossi know Milan are also keen so they will not accept a deal of this type.

Juve are also evaluating other alternatives such as Angel Di Maria and David Neres, who could help bolster the attack available to Massimiliano Allegri and leave the path to Zaniolo open.
