CM: Milan-linked striker nets in the World Cup – the details of a potential deal

AC Milan linked striker Cody Gakpo scored for the Netherlands against Senegal on Monday evening and here are the details of any possible deal that the Rossoneri could do.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the PSV Eindhoven star scored the Netherlands’ first goal in a 2-0 win over Senegal to get their World Cup underway in Qatar.

He got on the end of a good cross bravely as the goalkeeper rushed out to punch the ball away. His header went over the keeper and into the top corner to give his team the lead late on.

Milan have remained interested in signing Gakpo for some time but there are plenty of other teams in the picture, most notably Manchester United who have asked for the most information about him.

It is likely that PSV will be demanding a fee in the region of €40-50 million which could price Milan out of the operation.
