AC Milan are starting to look even more closely at Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr as an option, a report claims.
As has been reported by Sport Mediaset today (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are very serious about Sarr now that they have missed out on a couple of midfield targets.
Renato Sanches was the primary target in that area but he is now set to sign for Paris Saint Germain after they finally made a bid for him.
Carney Chukwuemekais also now off the market after Chelse agreed on a fee with Aston Villa for the 18-year-old midfielder.
Sarr has been linked for a few weeks but his name has taken on more importance with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara as other targets rapidly disappear.
The 19-year-old made 34 appearances for Metz during his loan spell last season and Milan think he could be ready for the step up to the Rossoneri.
