This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that as soon as Investcorp’s acquisition of Milan from Elliott Management is confirmed, work on the summer transfer market will begin with some clear issues to address.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will remain at the club so they are continuing work ahead of the summer window and they want a player capable of guaranteeing an important number of goals and assists for the right flank.
In the past few hours the Rossoneri have been linked with the name of Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City, a reinforcement that would significantly improve the quality of the attack, but PSG are also on his trail.
Other options are being probed though like Marco Asensio of Real Madrid, as the Spaniard has always been admired by Maldini who last summer tried to bring him to Milanello. He, like Mahrez, would be a statement signing, while the Domenico Berardi track has cooled down.
