Tuttosport: Milan offered Sassuolo midfielder as Renato Sanches alternative – the response

AC Milan are continuing to probe various tracks for the midfield and have been offered the chance to sign a Sassuolo star, a report claims.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) talks about how Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are on the hunt for the right profile after missing out on Renato Sanches, who officially joined PSG. Pape Matar Sarr of Tottenham is a target but only if there is the chance to make an initial loan move permanent, with Spurs only open to a dry loan currently.

The paper adds that Davide Frattesi had been offered as an alternative to Renato Sanches in recent weeks by his entourage, but the option is not hugely appealing to Maldini and Massara in terms of his profile and skill set.

Furthermore, Sassuolo are an expensive shop and would ask for a very high sum to let the former Roma player leave this summer.
