AC Milan were nowhere near their best against Monza but they managed to escape from the U-Power Stadium with three points and a clean sheet.
The only goal of the game came just before the break through Tijjani Reijnders. A cross was hung up nicely for Alvaro Morata but his header was blocked, then the Dutchman was on hand to provide a diving headed finish of his own from close range.
It is actually the first win that the Rossoneri have got away from San Siro this season and it comes in November, but does little to dispel doubts about if the team can turn a corner.
