GdS: Milan’s potential new owners want forward with 48 goal contributions this season

AC Milan’s potential new owners Investcorp are already building their plan for the summer transfer window and they are targeting a RB Leipzig star, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Bahrain-based fund are expected to complete a takeover of Milan and they have big ideas for the club, starting with a €300m budget being made available to strengthen the squad.

One of the players they are targeting to kick start their new era is RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku who is having an exceptional season for the Bundesliga side. He has 30 goals and 18 assists in 43 appearances, which are quite frankly ridiculous numbers.

A number of top clubs are being linked with the 24-year-old Frenchman – who is under contract until 2024 – including Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool, while it is also no surprise to see Paris Saint-Germain‘s name in the mix given they probably regret selling him.
