Chelsea have made the decision to sell Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer and AC Milan are among the interested teams, a report claims.
According to a report from Football Insider, the Chelsea management are open to selling their 27-year-old academy product in the summer window as they look to clear out the players that Graham Potter does not see much of a role for.
The report states that as many as Premier League sides hold a ‘strong interest’ in Loftus-Cheek who also has a market in Italy where Milan and Roma monitoring his situation.
While Chelsea hold the option to extend his deal – currently expiring in June 2024 – by another year, but they seem to be willing to cash in instead for the right price.
Loftus-Cheek has started four of Chelsea’s last five Premier League games and has racked up 26 appearances across all competitions this season.
Milan got a first-hand look at the England international in the Champions League group stages as Chelsea won 3-0 at Stamford Bridge and 2-0 at San Siro.
