Goal: Milan and Roma express interest in signing €35m-rated Real Betis playmaker

A new name has been linked with AC Milan as they continue to look for options to improve the quality of their attack as Nabil Fekir is in their sights.

According to Goal.com, the Rossoneri management are keen on Fekir again having been linked repeatedly over the past few windows but they are not alone as Roma are also showing an interest in signing his.

Betis consider Fekir to be a player that is very important to them but they have set an asking price of around €35m, which they believe would be a fair return for a 28-year-old who amassed 6 goals and signed 8 assists in 34 official appearances last season.

Milan are admirers but as per the report it is Roma that have shown the most concrete interest, with José Mourinho even having personally spoken to the player’s entourage. However, neither of the two clubs seem willing to pay the €35m needed.

Betis must take into account the fact that in the event of a sale, 20% of the sum collected would go to Lyon, Fekir’s former team, and a further 10% would go to the player.
