AC Milan have scored just four goals in their last six games and the 0-0 draw with Bologna exposed some deficiencies in the attack, a report claims.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri ended up having 33 shots in their search to find the one goal that would have given them three huge points to maintain the lead atop the table and to respond to the big wins Inter and Napoli got.
The stats from the season so far shows that the Rossoneri need at least 9 shots to score one goal on average, a number that can certainly be improved and it has Pioli’s side near the bottom of the league for being clinical.
The forwards need to be more cynical in front of goal given that the last two winners have come from Bennacer and Kalulu. There also needs to be far more composure and clarity when certain chances arise, because more slip-ups are simply not allowed.
