According to the Telegraph, Milan and Chelsea are in negotiations regarding Ziyech even though the winger has left to begin preseason preparations with the rest of the squad in Los Angeles. Chelsea are open to letting Ziyech leave, but want a permanent sale, while the Rossoneri are going for a loan with obligation to buy.

Ziyech is understood to be under the assistance of Roc Nation Sports having split from his long-term agent. Roc Nation helped to negotiate Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter on loan and they are on good terms with Milan too. Milan and Ziyech hope a deal will be struck as per the report.

Chelsea have an additional motivation to sell: they are eyeing Serge Gnabry as an alternative to Raphinha for the right wing. The 26-year-old has one year remaining on his Bayern Munich deal and could cost around €40m.
