A huge crowd is expected at San Siro on Thursday night for AC Milan’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus, a report claims.

The Rossoneri will be looking to make the final of the Italian cup for the third time in five years, but will have to overcome the side that beat them in the final in the previous two occasions.

Having played in front of a full house as San Siro in Sunday night’s Derby della Madonnina defeat to Inter, Stefano Pioli’s side will once again take to the field in front of a raucous atmosphere at the Giuseppe Meazza.

According to the latest from MilanNews.it, the box office has now exceeded 60,000 tickets sold, with the next threshold of 70,000 spectators now firmly in view.

Hakan Calhanoglu was in inspired form as Milan beat Torino 4-2 after extra time in the quarter-final to set up the meeting with their city rivals Juventus.
