MN: Massara departs after four years of hard work and success at Milan

Frederic Massara can leave AC Milan with his head held high after four years of very impressive work that came to an end on Wednesday afternoon.

As pointed out by Milan News, the Italian sporting director has been in the job with the Rossoneri since June 21, 2019. That means he is just a couple weeks shy of having held the post for four years straight.

Considering the situation that Milan was in when he and Paolo Maldini began their work, he can certainly take a lot of pride in the work he and the duo have done.

He has always shown great professionalism and competence in his work and has played a role in delivering consistent Champions League football for two seasons.

Many of the signings that he has played a role in, such as Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao, have proven to be undisputed successes and the Milan fanbase can rightly feel aggrieved by his dismissal.
