MN: Milan could table cash-plus-player offer for promising Empoli playmaker

AC Milan have expressed their interest in Empoli playmaker Tommaso Baldanzi and could even make an official offer soon. Given the price tag, though, they could be forced to include one of their players.

Baldanzi is 20 years old and he has made 18 league appearances for Empoli this season. Playing as an attacking midfielder, he has scored four goals and the big clubs in Italy are keeping tabs on his development.

According to MilanNews, Milan have expressed their interest in the promising playmaker and could make an official offer. Empoli want €15-20m for Baldanzi and that’s why the Rossoneri could include academy forward Maikol Cifuentes in the deal.

Cifuentes is one of the most promising players in the Milan academy and Empoli would be willing to take him onboard, seeing as they have done well with young players. This would shave a couple of millions off the price tag, or perhaps even more.
