AC Milan believe that Samuel Chukwueze is the perfect profile to come in and reinforce the right wing, but it will not be an easy signing to pull off.

According to MilanNews, the right wing is one of the priorities for the Milan management and they intend to make an investment in that area to improve the attack, especially after the sale of Sandro Tonali brought some liquidity.
Chukwueze is the main target, and it is not hard to see why. He played 50 games last season and managed to amassed 13 goals and 11 assists across all competitions. He has shown that he can play in a 4-2-3-1 as well as in a 4-3-3, which makes him useful for Stefano Pioli.
However, such a profile comes at a cost. Even though the 24-year-old has a contract expiring in June 2024, Villarreal want to get value for Chukwueze and thus they have set a high asking price.
What must also be considered is the issue linked to non-EU slots, of which the Rossoneri have two available. However, Milan seems willing to negotiate and make an important effort to win the race for Chukwueze.
