MN: Milan store, ticket office and museum to close as coronavirus sweeps through Lombardy

A number of different AC Milan outlets will be shut on Monday as the coronavirus outbreak continues to sweep through Lombardy, a report claims.

Inter’s game against Sampdoria at San Siro was among four Serie A fixtures on Sunday postponed over fears that the virus will continue to spread. Torino v Parma, Verona v Cagliari and Atalanta v Sassuolo were the other games postponed.

AC Milan Women’s home match against Fiorentina was called off, as was Italy v Scotland in the Women’s Six Nations rugby.

As the BBC note, a woman from the northern region of Lombardy became the second person in Italy to die from the virus in 24 hours, and a third person has now died.

The Rossoneri have acted accordingly too, and MilanNews have learned that – in compliance with the provisions of the Lombardy Region – the Milan store, ticket office and the Museum at Casa Milan will remain closed on Monday. In addition, tours and visits to the stadium are also suspended.
