Perhaps contrary to previous reports, Matteo Moretto has shared an update on Yunus Musah’s situation at AC Milan, stating that there are no negotiations with any Premier League clubs.

Luca Bianchin reported this morning that Wolves had expressed an interest in Musah, ready to joing Nottingham Forest in the race. He also said that the latter club had already initiated contacts with Milan over a potential transfer.

According to Matteo Moretto (via Il Garante), however, Musah has only been offered to the Premier League by his agents. For now, there are no negotiations with any clubs and the idea of signing the American also hasn’t fully enticed any of the clubs, with the situation not heating up.

With a price tag of €20-25m, coming off a pretty poor season, you could question Milan’s strategy when it comes to the midfielder. On the other hand, Napoli offered around €20m for his services and it’s clear that the player has potential, so things could heat up in a few weeks.

For now, Musah looks set to join Milan and Max Allegri for the first day of pre-season, which is scheduled for July 7. It’s possible that the head coach could have a look at him and take him off the transfer market, but it’s unlikely.
