Musacchio close to completing Lazio move – terms of the deal and the fee Milan will receive

Saturday’s defeat against Atalanta looks more and more like being Mateo Musacchio’s last game in an AC Milan shirt as he is closing in on a move to Lazio.

According to what our market correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota has told us, Milan have found a solution for Musacchio and he is very close to joining Lazio. The player would be happy to accept the destination.

The latest from TMW states that Musacchio is approaching Lazio with great strides as he is the player that the Biancoceleste have chosen to reinforce the defence after the injury of Luiz Felipe, something that forced the Capitoline club to return to the market.

An agreement with Milan was found on the basis of a compensation figure of around €1million. For the Argentine defender, a six-month contract with an option to renew until 2023 is ready. This is an agreement that ‘allows Lazio to fall within the liquidity index present in the NOIF regulations of the FIGC’, the report adds.

It seemed as though the Argentine was all set for a move to Parma, but Lazio’s pressing appears to be decisive. In fact, MilanNews are also reporting that Musacchio is close to joining the Aquile.
