Zeroli went into the 2024-25 season as one of the presumed leaders of the new Milan Futuro project. However, by the winter window the idea of a loan was being considered in an attempt to get him more senior minutes, and he went to Monza for six months.

Having returned to base, there were some reflections regarding the best next move for the 20-year-old, who amassed eight league appearances for Monza and registered one assist. The Biancorossi were relegated to Serie B, which threatened to rule out their candidacy.

However, Zeroli has indeed gone back to Adrian Galliani’s club. A statement on the official website reads as follows: “AC Milan can confirm that midfielder Kevin Zeroli has joined AC Monza on a loan until 30 June 2026. The club would like to wish Kevin all the best for the upcoming season.”

We stated in a recent feature that it felt certain a new loan will be sought for Zeroli, given he is still young and needs regular minutes in order to fully develop. For now, his immediate future has been resolved at the very least.

Monza’s statement reads: “Kevin Zeroli will be a Monza player next season too, on loan from Milan until June 30, 2026. In his first experience at Monza, the midfielder made 8 appearances in Serie A, highlighting his qualities and making his first assist in the top division. Good luck Kevin!”
