Ordine: Second goal against PSG a ‘terrible lesson’ for Milan and highlighted ‘immaturity’

AC Milan lost the game against PSG by three goals to nil and their lack of experience at this level was evident. As highlighted by Franco Ordine, especially the second goal showed that the Rossoneri have a lot of work to do.

The Rossoneri had a huge opportunity to make it 1-1 at the start of the second half, as Christian Pulisic ended up in a 1v1 with the goalkeeper. However, he decided to pass and the chance was squandered. Instead, PSG made it 2-0 shortly after.

As highlighted by Franco Ordine in his latest editorial for MilanNews, the second goal highlighted the immaturity of this team. At this level, you cannot afford to stop when the opponent gets a corner, because then you will be punished.

“The second goal conceded is a terrible lesson of inattention and superficiality for the entire Rossoneri team, because they let themselves be surprised by a quick corner kick. These are sins that reveal the immaturity of the group and the lack of habit of playing certain challenges at maximum intensity. You can’t even afford to tie your shoes (get it Musah?),” he wrote.

Milan will take on Napoli next (in the league) and must bounce back with a win after two tough defeats. The next game in the Champions League will also be against PSG, but obviously it will be played at San Siro instead.
