Pedulla: Sampdoria become an option for Milan full-back with D’Aversa close to appointment

Andrea Conti has returned from his loan spell at Parma but is not expected to stay beyond the summer, according to a report.

Conti joined Milan from Atalanta back in the summer of 2017 and hasn’t impressed with the red and black shirt. After a failed loan spell at Parma, the Rossoneri now want to sell him permanently. There was a buy-out clause included in the right-back’s contract with Parma, which would have turned into an obligation in the event of salvation. However, the Tardini side were relegated to Serie B and thus didn’t take up the option.

According to the latest from Alfredo Pedulla, Conti will leave Milan on a permanent basis this summer and a new experience in Serie A is expected. There have been contacts with Genoa, but with the imminent arrival of Roberto D’Aversa at Sampdoria, Conti seems to be an option for them. The situation must be followed given the esteem that the coach has towards the full-back.
