Comparing the 2021/22 season with the 2022/23 one after 13 games, Milan have three fewer points this campaign. The start to last season was simply incredible and there have been some difficulties this time out.
However, as highlighted by Emanuele Bottoni, Milan have improved their H2H record against their opponents. The Rossoneri have collected 29 points from the fixtures this season thus far, but last season they only get 23 points from these (see photo below).

While the overall tally has decreased, Milan have actually improved their H2H record and it remains to be seen if they can build on this in the second half of the season. It will be needed to defend the Scudetto, that’s for sure.
