Kalulu has been impressive so far this season and performances for Milan are the best answer to those who doubted the value of the Rossoneri scouts, as it was Geoffrey Moncada and his assistants who spotted a player who had never made a senior appearance for Lyon.

According to a study from the CIES Football Observatory (as seen below), Kalulu’s market value is €30m higher than the amount Milan paid to sign him, which was next to nothing given that his contract expired with Lille and only a development fee was needed given his age.

He is in there with names such as Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies, Sergino Dest of Barcelona and Reece James of Chelsea who are all valued at €100m or more. It is testament to the growth he has shown.
