According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli has decided to give his squad two days of rest after the comeback victory in the capital which took a lot of physical and mental energy, with the resumption of training at Milanello set for tomorrow.
The condition of Ismael Bennacer will have to be looked at given that the Algerian missed the game at the Stadio Olimpico, but Pioli hopes to recover him for Sunday’s match against La Viola, though it is still too early to establish whether he will be in the right condition.
If he is not available for the game it is likely we would see Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali paired up with Brahim Diaz the attacking midfielder.
