A number of AC Milan players have come under fire for their performances during the defeat against Lazio on Sunday night.

The only goal of the match came in the first half and was scored by Gustav Isaksen. The Dane raced onto a through ball in behind Pervis Estupinan and slotted past Mike Maignan, and while Milan had plenty of pressure in the second half they were unable to find an equaliser.
After Inter’s draw with Atalanta the hope was that the gap could be cut to five points, but it has in fact been widened to eight. It will take a miracle to engineer a Scudetto comeback now, with a top four spot still to be secured.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has their ratings from the game. The team’s performance was given a 5 out of 10, as was Massimiliano Allegri’s management.
Strahinja Pavlovic was the best performer but he only got a 6, which speaks volumes. Pervis Estupinan – the derby hero last weekend – was at fault for the goal and struggled on the night, getting a 4.
The only other players to get a pass were Mike Maignan, Koni De Winter, Luka Modric and the substitutes Davide Bartesaghi and Zachary Athekame. Fikayo Tomori, Alexis Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic got 5.5s.
Ardon Jashari and Niclas Füllkrug scored a 5, while the flop of the match could have also gone to Rafael Leao, who got a 4 and was criticised for his reaction after being taken off in a game he was struggling to impact.

Corriere dello Sport gave Allegri a 5, while Pavlovic, Saelemaekers, Fofana, Jashari, Pulisic and Füllkrug were all awarded the same score. Estupinan got a 4.5, but that wasn’t as low as Leao, who was given a 4. Maignan, Tomori and Modric got a 5.5 and all others a passing grade.
