PM: Milan enquire over Chelsea winger who could leave for €15-20m

AC Milan have already made enquiries over the potential summer signing of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea, according to a report.

According to PianetaMilan, the Milan management know that a signing is needed for the right wing because both Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers are failing to impress on a consistent basis. The limits of the Brazilian and the Belgian are well-known, which is why a deal for Nicolò Zaniolo was pursued in January.

The Italian could still arrive given that he has joined Galatasaray but with a €35m release clause to facilitate a potential return to Serie A next year, however the Rossoneri’s budget isn’t unlimited and that figure could be too high.

That is why Milan are continuing to monitor the situation of Pulisic who continues to find little playing time especially after the big-money arrivals of Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke in January plus the fact Christopher Nkunku will join ahead of next season.

With a contract expiring in June 2024, he could move for a figure between €15-20m which is potentially less than half what Zaniolo would cost. Milan have already asked for information on the former Borussia Dortmund star by contacting the London club.
