AC Milan need a quality signing for the midfield given that Franck Kessie will leave when his contract expires, and the two names of Renato Sanches and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have emerged.
MilanNews report that Renato Sanches has long been one of the profiles sought by the Milan management who wanted to sign him in January, but they were unable to get a deal over the line which postponed the discussions to the summer mercato.
The Portugal international has been seen for some time as the ideal player for the 4-2-3-1 system that head coach Stefano Pioli has established because he has the quality and the physicality to be able to replace Kessie.
Regarding the Lazio midfielder on the other hand, there have been some exploratory enquiries during which it was discovered that Claudio Lotito’s asking price is at least €60m. That means Milinkovic-Savic would be a possible profile in the event of a Scudetto win and the establishment that Investcorp are willing to invest big.
