Report: €40m bid ready as Rangnick wants Napoli winger, Man Utd target at Milan

AC Milan are ready to make a sizeable offer to sign Napoli winger Hirving Lozano this summer, according to a report from Spain.

The Rossoneri were credited with interest in the Mexico international when he was a star at PSV Eindhoven but eventually missed out as he headed to Naples.

PianetaMilan reported recently how the idea could resurface, as the renewal of Dries Mertens means Lozano will be included in the list of players that head coach Gennaro Gattuso deems sellable.

According to DonBalon, Lozano wants to leave Napoli in the summer after a ‘nightmare year’ and Milan are readying an offer of €40million as Ralf Rangnick views the player as a ‘star’ to help relaunch the club.

Napoli see that as a fitting amount as they could recoup the investment they made last summer and focus on one of their main goals for this transfer market in Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesús.

Manchester United and Everton have also been strongly linked with a move for Lozano, however, who has three goals and one assists in 18 Serie A appearances this term.
