Krunic already has an agreement with the Turkish side as he’s set to receive a hefty pay rise. However, in the talks between the clubs, Fenerbahce have not come close to Milan’s demands and many believe that the midfielder will remain.

Yet, the Turkish journalist Zeki Uzundurukan of A Spor claims that Fenerbahce are getting closer to a ‘happy ending’ in the talks over Krunic. Turkish and Italian media have been reporting opposing things over the summer and that must be taken into consideration.

The most likely scenario appears to be Krunic staying at the club, not just because Pioli likes him a lot but also because Milan don’t have a lot of time to find a replacement. Tonight, as the Rossoneri will face Torino, the Bosnian will play from start.
