Report: Fenerbahce expected to table final offer for Krunic ‘in a few days’

Rade Krunic has been heavily linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the last few weeks but AC Milan have remained firm on their demand. In the coming days, the Turkish side should table a final offer, a report claims.

Krunic already has an agreement with Fenerbahce but the latter have not been very successful in the negotiations with Milan. The Rossoneri made it clear from the start that they wanted at least €12m and that price tag has now gone up, given that there isn’t much time left of the transfer window.

According to the journalist Sercan Hamzaoğlu, Fenerbahce are expected to table a final offer for Krunic ‘in a few days’. It remains very unlikely, however, that they will be able to satisfy the needs of Milan.

Krunic is an important player for Stefano Pioli’s Milan and will play the season opener against Bologna from the first minute. Given Ismael Bennacer’s injury, the Bosnian remains the only defensive midfielder in the squad and replacing him would not be easy either.
