GdS: Revenues boom and €90m more could follow – Milan’s accounts continue to improve

Some more positive news arrived regarding AC Milan’s off-field resurgence yesterday as the figures for the first half of the 2021-22 financial year emerged.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) talks about a ‘boom’ in revenue for the Rossoneri, which is up by 40% compared to the first six months of the 2020-21 season. Yesterday the Milan Board of Directors revealed an important increase in revenues which bodes well moving forward.

This rise was above all due to the increase in money earned from sponsors and TV rights, as well as the sale of Casa Milan for a profit. The paper adds that winning the Scudetto could bring another €90m into the coffers.

The work of CEO Ivan Gazidis and his collaborators continues to grow the Milan brand and bring more opportunities to the club from new sponsorships and partnerships, something that should be reflected in the end of year accounts as losses should be further cut.
