CM: Lazio’s concrete offer and Juve’s interest – the latest on Romagnoli’s future

Lazio are serious about signing defender Alessio Romagnoli once his contract with AC Milan expires, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that Maurizio Sarri is expecting Lazio to have a big summer transfer window and the name at the top of his wish list is Romagnoli. His contract with Milan is expiring and their sporting director Igli Tare has set up a meeting with Mino Raiola in the second half of March to discuss the situation.

During that meeting the Lazio director is expected to table a multi-year contract for the Milan captain at €3m net per season plus bonuses, and Romagnoli is tempted by the possibility of returning to Rome and playing for the team that he supported as a child.

It is a concrete possibility that must be be carefully evaluated in the coming weeks, while in the meantime Juventis are still at the window waiting for possible developments, because Max Allegri is an admirer too.
