A number of sources have reported that the Rossoneri management are planning to make an investment in the centre-forward role next summer considering Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 41 years of age (and may retire) while Olivier Giroud is 36, with both on contracts set to expire next June.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s column Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside today, an intermediary met with Milan to discuss Broja, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara clear that they want a striker next summer and the Albanian is a player they like.
However, Romano adds that the 21-year-old recently signed a new contract with Chelsea and he is ‘very happy’ there for the time being. Milan are following him and the situation could develop, but as of now ‘there is nothing’ too concrete regarding the Rossoneri’s pursuit.
