SerieBNews: Milan pondering possible swap deal to beat Inter to Empoli starlet

AC Milan are looking to bolster their midfield department this summer and they are interested in signing Kristjan Asllani from Empoli, a report claims.

According to SerieBNews, the Rossoneri have got the 20-year-old Albanian midfielder on their list of targets but city rivals Inter also like his profile and have identified him as the right profile for the role of deputy to Marcelo Brozovic.

Milan could have the right card to overcome their neighbours though because Empoli are interested in signing Lorenzo Colombo, who is currently on loan at SPAL. The Tuscan side need to find a reinforcement forward as Pinamonti will return to Inter after his loan, and Colombo could be the right man.

A swap deal could convince Empoli and leave Inter empty-handed, while it would of course leave question marks about the future of players such as Tommaso Pobega, who is currently out on loan at Torino and will return once the season is over.
