A meeting took place this evening involving all 20 Serie A clubs amid the announcement of the new Super League involving Milan, Inter and Juventus.

It was confirmed last night that 12 ‘founding clubs’ among Europe’s elite are ready to start their own competition, namely Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham from England plus Milan, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Juventus and Real Madrid.
The ESL said the founding clubs had agreed to establish a “new midweek competition” but that teams still plan to “compete in their respective national leagues” – though it is unknown whether that will actually be an option.
According to reports from Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the clubs will all meet once again on Tuesday but this time in person. However, what filters from the dialogue today is that the idea remains that of the various press releases, namely that the three founding clubs of the Super League (Milan, Inter and Juventus) want to continue playing in Serie A.
