Sky: Milan open to sale of Messias but not for less than €10m

Junior Messias will be signed on a permanent basis by AC Milan, following what was a decent first year with the club. However, this doesn’t rule out a departure this summer as the Rossoneri could make a capital gain.

The Brazilian scored six goals and assisted an additional three goals this past season but given his age, his price tag is still not that expensive. In their negotiations with Crotone, however, Milan got the buy-out clause below the market value.

The Rossoneri are expected to pay around €4.5m for the permanent signing of Messias and that also opens the possibility for a capital gain. As reported by Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it), Milan could indeed consider a sale but not for less than €10m. Monza have previously expressed their interest and that are probably a few more clubs interested.

However, it’s not just about collecting the capital gain as Milan probably would have to find a replacement, depending on their signings and the future of Alexis Saelemaekers. That’s why they want at least €10m to even consider it.
