According to L’Equipe, Onana has already given his approval to the idea of joining Milan and everything could be fixed very quickly regarding his future destination. A new meeting is scheduled for this afternoon between the Bordeaux management and their Rossoneri counterparts to try to resolve the situation.
Bordeaux are asking for €6m as a fixed amount and €1m in bonuses plus a percentage of the proceeds from a potential future resale in order to part with the Cameroonian international.
Someone close to the negotiations told L’Equipe: “We did not reach an agreement but we are not far away.” Meanwhile, the report also mentions that Serie A duo Monza and Cremonese are also interested in the 22-year-old former Lille man as well, so Milan may have to move quickly.
