AC Milan have been credited with an interest in signing Harry Maguire from Manchester United as early as January by a report in England.

TalkSport report that Maguire rejected interest from West Ham United during the summer transfer window to stay and fight for his place at Manchester United, but it seems he is not one of Erik ten Hag’s favoured options.
The source add that West Ham remain interested in exploring a deal to sign Maguire but Milan are among a number of teams in Italy that are looking into the idea of signing him.
Moreover, Maguire could be tempted by the idea of following the example set by Chris Smalling and Fikayo Tomori, who left difficult situations at their clubs in England to start afresh in Italy, and it has been a success for both.
There is no mention of the formula or fee that might be involved, but it seems that Milan are looking at ways to bolster their centre-back options.
