TMW: Juventus hold meeting over Zaniolo but Milan re-enter the race

AC Milan are still interested in exploring a deal for Nicolo Zaniolo as they are having difficulties signing their main target, a report claims.

According to the latest from TMW, Zaniolo hasn’t closed the door on a return to Italy despite starting his career at Galatasaray in a positive way, and for this reason Juventus remain a possible option for him.

A summit between the various delegations took place in Milan and the outcome was that Galatasaray are blocking things because they will not accept players as counterparts, but Juve’s interest is now clear.

However, they may face competition. Milan are finding it difficult to sign Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze because of the €40m asking price and as such have returned to Zaniolo as an alternative.

Chief scout Geoffrey Moncada likes the former Roma man a lot and the Rossoneri tried to sign him during the January window before he ended up in Turkey.
