TMW: Milan readying €10m bid for 20-year-old PAOK starlet

AC Milan are interesting in signing young playmaker Giannis Konstantelias and are readying a sizeable bid, according to a report.

According to a what is being reported by TMW, Milan are very interested in signing 20-year-old Greek attacking midfielder Giannis Konstantelias who is currently playing for PAOK Thessaloniki.

Paolo Maldini in particular has been in touch with PAOK over a potential deal ahead of the summer and he has a bid worth €10, ready to offer to the Greek team. The director of the Rossoneri technical area has been in contact with his counterpart Josè Boto.

There is competition to sign the youngster though which mainly comes from Sevilla and Red Bull Salzburg, who have offered €10m and €7m respectively for the attacking midfielder, who has one goal and five assists in 21 games this season.

However, neither of those amounts (and Milan’s bid) are enough at the moment as PAOK’s demand is around €15-20m as they know they have a talent on their hands who is very much in demand.
