According to TMW, there is ‘no possibility’ for Milan to sign Kiwior next month after Arsenal made a decision on his immediate future. Milan tried to ask for information, but has only received negative responses from the English club.
Unless there is a shock U-turn in the coming couple of weeks, the Poland international’s situation will not change and he will end the season with the Gunners, where he has been a reserve option under Mikel Arteta since arriving.
Kiwior moved less than a year ago (January 2023) from Spezia to north London for €25m and penned a four and a half year contract there worth €2.5m net per season. Arsenal would only sell him permanently and not for a capital loss, therefore a bid of around €20m will be needed to even bring them to the negotiating table.
However, they will not do so in January mainly because there is no intention of selling a reliable deputy or breaking up a squad that has so far proven to be almost perfect, given they are top of the Premier League.
