Tuttosport: Dominguez, Gravenberch and Samardzic – Milan’s midfield options

AC Milan’s midfield pursuit continues as in addition to Ruben Loftus-Cheek, they are aiming to bring in an additional two players for that department. There’s not exactly a lack of options, as a report highlights.

After the departure of Sandro Tonali, and the serious injury of Ismael Bennacer, Milan need to strengthen the midfield. Loftus-Cheek’s arrival was a step in the right direction but a few more are indeed needed.

As reported by Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders are the main targets for the midfield. Milan are confident that they can secure the Dutchman but negotiations for the American are difficult.

Therefore, the Rossoneri have quite a few alternatives. The first is Bologna’s Nicolas Dominguez, who could arrive for just €10m given that his contract expires next summer. Ryan Gravenberch is another one, but Bayern Munich will likely demand a lot for the 21-year-old.

Finally, Milan also have Lazar Samardzic on their radar. The Udinese midfielder obviously knows the league well and he’s versatile, which is something that Stefano Pioli appreciates a lot. He’s one of the so-called ‘low-cost options’.
